National CAPACD Announces 2022 Financial Capability for AA & NHPI Communities

As the nation enters the period of economic recovery from the COVID pandemic, low-income Americans continue to face the economic challenges caused by the pandemic. As pandemic relief programs have come to an end, low-income families and vulnerable communities face a long road to recovery without sustained and adequate intervention.

With the generous support of Wells Fargo, National CAPACD is pleased to release the 2022 Financial Capability in AA & NHPI Communities. This fund is specifically focused on supporting community based organizations that run programs to promote increased financial knowledge and confidence, and increased access to and usage of safe and affordable financial products in the low- and moderate-income (LMI) Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA & NHPIs) communities.
National CAPACD will provide grants ranging from $25,000 – $30,000 to support up to six 501(c)(3) organizations or organizations with fiscal-sponsors that are serving low-income AA & NHPI communities.

The applications are due on Thursday, July 21, 2022. All questions should be sent to camille@nationalcapacd.org and CC rfp@nationalcapacd.org.

An informational session will be held on Wednesday, July 6 2022 at 4 PM ET/ 3 PM CT/ 2 PM MT/ 1 PM PT/ 10 AM HT. Register for the information session here.
