Applications are now open for National CAPACD’s 2025 Our Neighborhoods Peer Learning Program. This program fosters a space where organizers and advocates can support one another to overcome challenges in organizing low-income Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) communities around issues of gentrification and displacement.
From May to September 2025, participants will meet virtually and 1-2 times in person to build relationships with each other. In these spaces, they will workshop the common challenges facing organizers and advocates in place-based and community-stabilizing work. Participants will also dive into topics such as equitable community development and community land trusts with National CAPACD’s experienced members.
We invite organizations that are actively combating displacement through power-building strategies to apply. We are also actively seeking applicants who engage directly with impacted AA and NHPI leaders in developing campaigns and advocacy activities. For more information on eligibility criteria, please see the RFP materials below.
Along with acceptance to the peer learning program, National CAPACD will provide grants of $15,000 to each awarded organization. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal sponsor and serve low-income AA and NHPI communities. Funds awarded will be flexible and used at the organization’s discretion in accordance with National CAPACD’s guidelines.
The deadline to apply is February 26 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Applications must be submitted on our Foundant Grant Portal. Relevant documents with additional details are linked below. All questions should be directed to ourneighborhoods@nationalcapacd.org.
A virtual information session will be held on February 11 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. Register for the information session here.
