Policy & Advocacy
We build coalitions, publish original research, and advance a national policy agenda that promotes economic, racial, and social justice.
Telling Our Stories, Building a Powerful Voice
National CAPACD aims to “tell our stories” by forging an AA and NHPI community action research and policy agenda around the housing, community, and economic development needs of low-income AA and NHPI communities. We engage in policy advocacy and promote participatory action research to increase the influence of AA and NHPI communities nationally to obtain equal access and equitable resources.2023-2024 Policy Action Agenda
The Policy Action Agenda provides suggestions for key areas of focus through the 118th Congress (2023-2024).
2021-2024 Policy Platform
National CAPACD uses our policy platforms to inform our federal policy advocacy work over the subsequent four years after the platform is ratified by our member organizations.

Through its national influence efforts, National CAPACD seeks to achieve the following for low-income AAPIs and all communities of color.
